The Drill Designer software package is a result of collaborative efforts between University of Iowa faculty and staff from the Weeg Computing Center and the Department of Psychological and Quantitative Foundations. The University of Iowa owns the Drill Designer software. You may make copies of the Drill Designer shareware package. You may freely distribute copies of the package only on computer disks or other media that are distributed free of charge. The Drill Designer package that you so distribute must be left unchanged and include from the original Drill Designer package all files as you received them, including this shareware agreement.
Neither the authors, the Weeg Computing Center, nor the University of Iowa make any warranties as to the fitness of Drill Designer for any particular purpose. The software is provided "as is", and no warranty as to performance or effect on computer hardware or software is expressed or implied. Neither the authors, the Weeg Computing Center, nor the University of Iowa accept any responsibility for the installation or maintenance of, or consultation on, Drill Designer.
You may not reverse engineer any of Drill Designer.
Those who are not University of Iowa faculty, staff, or students must pay the shareware license fee of $30 for the following additional privileges (University of Iowa faculty, staff, or students need not pay):
You (the individual named on the license agreement form) may include the XCMD file or the C-library file in your own drill programs, including those which you distribute or sell. You may do so without additional charge so long as you have paid your registration fee and include a credit line such as the following in your documentation: "Drill Designer algorithm copyright The University of Iowa, 1991.
You may not distribute any other Drill Designer files (such as the documentation or sample drills) on any media or form for charge or as a part of a package for which you charge. The sample drills and documentation files may only be distributed as outlined in the first paragraph of this agreement.
